CURRENT EVENTS: CHRIS BROWN GOOD MORNING AMERICA INTERVIEW

Yesterday Chris Brown appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America and was interviewed by Robin Roberts. She asked him about his relationship with Rihanna and he began to appear uncomfortable. Later on he got angry and trashed his dressing room and threw a chair and broke the window. ABC said that they were not going to press charges on Chris Brown, but they said that he wouldn’t be invited to any shows on the ABC network. Check out this interview courtesy of www.dimewars.com

Wyclef Jean talks with CNN about being grazed by a bullet or glass while in Haiti for the Presidential elections. Busta Rhymes was accompanying Wyclef in the car during the shooting. Good thing neither one was seriously injured.

Japan was hit by one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded on March 11. The magnitude-9.0 quake spawned a deadly tsunami that slammed into the nation’s east coast, leaving a huge swath of devastation in its wake. Thousands of people are dead and many more are still missing or injured.
Japan has often donated when other countries have experienced disasters, such as when Hurricane Katrina impacted the United States. Below is a link for GLobal Giving they are one of the many organizations that are working on relief and recovery in the region.

CURRENT EVENTS: CNN REPORTS NEW LEADS IN THE MURDERS OF TUPAC AND B.I.G

CNN Reports that there are new leads in the unsolved murders of B.I.G and Tupac. Russell Poole a retired Police Investigator believes that Suge Knight along with the LAPD were involved in the murders of both B.I.G and Tupac. It is sad that both murders are still unsolved 13 years later.

Recently Hot 97 morning personality/ DJ Cipha Sounds made a racial joke while on air about Hatian women and HIV. There was a huge back lash by the community about his remarks. He was suspended indefinitely from Hot 97. Sounds like some one needs to holla at Wyclef. Here is a Fox News Report.
